Books will be issued on the production of the library card. Students are instructed to check the books while borrowing, and they will be responsible for any type of damage or mutilation noticed at the time of return.
Books will be issued to the students for 14 days only. The overdue charge of Rs. 1.00 per day per book will be collected from the due date until the book is returned to the library.
If the books are lost, the borrower must replace the books with the current edition or pay ten times the cost of the books after getting permission from the librarian.
Take special care to maintain the library borrower cards. Do not fold or alter entries made on the cards. Members are responsible for the entire set of library borrower cards issued to them.
Loss of a borrower card should be reported to the Librarian in writing. After checking the borrowing register, a fresh replacement card will be issued upon payment of Rs. 30/- per card.
Each student shall obtain a No Due Certificate from the Library after returning the issued books, surrendering the borrower’s cards, and paying any outstanding dues, if applicable.
Students are required to handle books and journals carefully. Marking with pencils, writing, highlighting, tearing pages, or mutilating books in any way will be taken very seriously. Readers will be held responsible unless such damages are reported to the Library staff at the time of issue.
