OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue)

OPAC stands for Online Public Access Catalogue, and it’s a computerized database of a library’s resources that allows users to search for materials electronically. It is an online bibliography of a library collection that is available to the public.

In order to determine whether a document is available in the library, the user searches for the desired document with bibliographic details such as the title, author, subjects, ISBN, call number, or accession number.
